Inn by the Sea, located on Crescent Beach, considered one of Maine and New England's premier luxury coastal destinations, was completely renovated during the winter of 2008. Sitting quietly on the natural estuaries of Crescent Beach, the Inn is only ten minutes from Portland's Old Port district with its unique boutique shopping, one-of-a-kind stores, art galleries, historical museums, and an array of restaurants, pubs and local nightlife that the area is known for. The Inn consists of 39 one-bedroom rooms and suites each with its own unique characteristics and charm, some with working fireplaces, and most with ocean views. In addition the Inn offers 18 two-bedroom cottages with the same charm and warm appointments plus additional living and sleeping areas. The Inn offers guests full access to our full service spa, cardio room, business center, ocean view dining Sea Glass dining room, lounge, expansive lawns, fire pit and outdoor pool. Inn by the Sea is where luxury comes naturally. Property is completely non-smoking.

Directions

Portland International Jetport:

1. Follow one way loop around Terminal to Stop sign & turn right to exit terminal. 2. At Traffic Light turn Left (Western Ave/Route 9) 3. Go straight to US Route 1 and Turn Right on to US Route 1 South (This will be at your 7th traffic light). 4. Follow Route 1 (South) for approx. 1 mile to Pleasant Hill Road. (This will be at your 3rd Traffic light) 5. Take left onto Pleasant Hill Road and follow to end (approx. 4 miles). 6. At the end of Pleasant Hill Road Turn left onto Route 77 (North). 7. Follow Route 77 (North) for approx. 3 1/2 miles. Inn by the Sea will be on your right.

Driving Directions from the North:

1. Take EXIT 2 off I-295 2. Take FIRST exit, Main Street Route 1 3. Proceed to Light 4. Turn RIGHT on Route 1 - Main Street 5. Stay on Route 1 - Main Street for .7miles (IN LEFT HAND LANE) 6. Turn LEFT on Pleasant Hill Road continuing to the end for approximately 3.3miles. 7. Turn LEFT on Route 77 (North) at the end of Pleasant Hill Road 8. Follow Route 77 (North) for approximately 3.5miles. Inn by the Sea will be on your right hand side

Driving Directions from the South:

From Maine Turnpike/Interstate 95 Take Exit #45 - South Portland. After the tollbooth, continue along the access road to the end. Turn right at the light onto Route 1 (south). At the second set of lights turn left onto Pleasant Hill Rd. Turn LEFT on Pleasant Hill Road continuing to the end for approximately 3.3miles. At the stop sign, turn left. This is Route 77 (north). 3.5 miles on the right is Inn by the Sea.

One level, one bedroom ocean view unit. Living area with flat screen TV and executive desk. Mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Oversized bathroom w/ separate tub & shower. Separate porch with rocking chairs and access to gardens. Some units are pet-friendly.

Loft Cottage

Bi-level, two bedroom unit with full kitchen, dining and living area with pull-out sofa. Two bedrooms one with queen size bed and one with two double beds. 1

Fireplace Room

Oversized single guestroom with gas burning fireplace. Fireplace rooms are not pet friendly.

Beach Cottage

Direct ocean view two bedroom, single bath units with full kitchen, dining and living areas with pullout sofas. Each bedroom has a single queen bed. Some units are pet friendly.

Garden Cottage

One level, one bedroom ocean view unit. Living area with flat screen TV and executive desk. Mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Oversized bathroom w/ separate tub & shower. Separate porch with rocking chairs and access to gardens. Some units are pet-friendly.

Spa Suite - King(Suite)

Two level, one bedroom suite with king bed. Wet bar kitchen includes mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, glassware, dishware. Loft area with bedroom and oversized bathroom with under-tile radiant heating. Terrace with ocean view. Some units are pet friendly.
